Hey Guys, Please be aware that SAE ROPS standards may not have kept up with the compact tractor evolution. If your tractor is loaded with wheelweights, weight box and liquid in the tires and loader installed, your Rops may fail. I saw one set up like that and it fell over backward on a steep hill when the bucket was raised. The ROPS folded till the loader which was still raised stopped it. The operator who was very inexperienced lived. Observe how the ROPS tube is bent and you will notice how the tube walls are concaved from the forming process. This weakens the ROPS in a rear roll situation.

I am not saying not to use the ROPS. It is important that you do. What I am saying is watch overloading your machine.

NH headquarters has always been moving target. When owned by Sperry and then sold to Ford it was in New Holland Pa where the company started. The company is now owned by Fiat. The HQ was in London till Fiat bought Case and merged the companies into CNH ( Case New Holland ). The HQ is now in Racine,Wis.

Red Boomers from Case should show up soon.

Fritz, I understand your pain. Lack of lighting on compacts has always been a major gripe. I don't believe the design teams have ever studied the lighting issue. They still give you those two little worthless lights up front behind the loader bucket. I designed clamping brackets to fit on the ROPS.I can place my lights above or below ROPS as needed. Welding is not a good idea.
Hopefully the ladies at Deere, Kubota or NH can come up with solution sometime this century.

The Freedom Hitch is undermarketed piece of equipment. Many dealers are still not aware of it, but it is a beautiful device. There is another quiktach called Delta. I never tried that one but it looked solid.
I never understood why our tractor manufactures didn't come up with these devices a long time ago. This isn't rocket science, but then again I doubt many design engineers spend any time coupling up implements at 5:30 in the morn. with cold fingers, poor lighting and a bad back.
